Privacy Policy
How information shared with ViceBeWell is collected, used and protected, written in plain terms.
ViceBeWell does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
01Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the ViceBeWell website and to the forms, account features and messages offered through it. It describes what is collected when the site is used, why it is held, how long it stays, and the choices available at any point.
Using the site, creating an account or submitting a form means this policy applies to the information provided. If any part of it does not sit comfortably, the safest step is to stop before submitting personal details.
02Information Provided Directly
Details entered into a form are held as given. That normally covers a first name, last name, email address, phone number and any password chosen for an account, along with anything written into a message field.
Descriptions of eating habits, sleep patterns or wellness goals are sometimes included voluntarily in a message. Only what is typed in is held, and nothing further is requested to answer an ordinary enquiry.
03Information Collected Automatically
Standard technical details are recorded when pages load, such as browser type, device type, approximate region, referring page and the pages viewed. This information keeps the site stable and shows which pages are difficult to read on smaller screens.
Technical records of this kind are handled in aggregate wherever possible and are not used to build a personal profile of anyone browsing the site.
04How Information Is Used
Contact details are used to answer enquiries, to set up and maintain accounts, and to send the service and marketing messages that were agreed to at signup. Message content is used to give a useful reply and nothing else.
Information is never used to make decisions about a person outside the purposes described here, and consent choices made during signup are respected exactly as they were recorded.
05Text Message Consent
Text messages are only sent when the relevant consent box has been ticked. Service messages cover confirmations, wellness check-ins, reminders and follow ups. Marketing messages cover programs, plans, resources and offers.
Consent is never a condition of receiving guidance or care. Replying STOP ends messages, replying HELP requests support, message frequency may vary, and standard message and data rates may apply.
06Cookies and Similar Technology
Small files may be stored by the browser to keep the site working smoothly, remember preferences between visits and measure general usage patterns. These files do not read anything else stored on a device.
Browser settings can block or remove these files at any time. Some parts of the site may become less convenient afterward, though the information on every page stays available.
07Sharing With Service Providers
Some ordinary functions rely on outside providers, including website hosting, email delivery, message delivery and security tools. Those providers receive only what is needed to perform their function and are expected to protect it.
No provider is permitted to use shared information for their own marketing, and none of it is passed along for sale, rental or trade.
08Legal Disclosure
Information may be disclosed where a valid legal request, court order or regulatory obligation requires it, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a person, to investigate fraud, or to defend legal rights.
Requests of this kind are reviewed carefully, and no more information is released than the request genuinely calls for.
09Data Retention
Personal information is kept only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as long as a legal or record keeping obligation requires. Account details remain while the account is active.
Once information is no longer needed it is deleted or reduced to a form that can no longer identify anyone.
10Security Measures
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access is limited to what is necessary, and passwords are stored in a protected form rather than as plain text.
No method of transmission over the internet can be described as completely secure, so choosing a strong password and keeping it private remains an important part of protecting an account.
11Choices and Rights
A copy of the personal information held can be requested, corrections can be asked for, and deletion can be requested where no legal obligation requires the records to be kept. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Requests are handled promptly and without any effect on the quality of guidance or care given afterward.
12Children and Eligibility
This site and the services described on it are intended for adults. Accounts are not knowingly created for anyone under the age of eligibility, and information belonging to a minor is removed once it is identified.
A parent or guardian who believes a minor has submitted personal details is encouraged to make contact so the record can be deleted.
13Links to Other Sites
Pages here may occasionally link to resources published elsewhere. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices, which are not controlled or monitored from here.
Reading the policy on any external site before submitting information there is always sensible.
14Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as services, tools or legal requirements change. The revised version is published on this page with a new date shown at the top.
Continued use of the site after an update means the current version applies.
